The System Manager will lead initiatives to support organic growth with existing and new affiliations, including project management from initiation of a project through completion. The Project Manager will be an operational liaison between SENTA’s newly affiliated practices and all internal departments to initiate, execute and analyze projects identified during the initial integration phase. The Project Manager will also work closely with the Director of Integrations and other operational leaders during the pre-affiliation period to plan for the successful integration of the practice post-close. Post-close, the Project Manager will work collaboratively with SENTA’s departmental leadership and the Director of Integrations to facilitate a seamless transition of the practice into the field operations team.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Serves as a project manager for each target, prepares and leads relevant operational and integration activities throughout the deal cycle (before and after close) for the successful integration of the newly affiliated practice. This includes maintaining a consolidated master integration schedule and tasks lists and driving internal teams to meet defined integration and project plans.
- Manages to completion wide range of operational projects with business stakeholders within fully integrated businesses. Accountable for project leadership, project execution, analysis, project team management and overall success of project objectives and goals.
- Establishes business controls (automated and manual) to ensure project improvements are sustained post project go live, demonstrates project business returns (ROI).
- In conjunction with all relevant departments, analyzes the target’s operational processes, reviews internal and third-party due diligence reports for integration items, develops integration plan, formulates strategic integration objectives and quantifies potential impact, creates tools and reporting to established repeatable, predictable and sustainable integration process.
- Identifies potential integration and operational concerns, issues and/or risks, whether real or perceived, and addresses those proactively to prevent escalation of the issues.
- Builds strong and empathetic relationships with the doctors and staff of the affiliated practice to lead the practice through the change management.
- Supports the Integrations and Operations departments in delivering high quality project management and ensuring ongoing success by monitoring the external environment, evaluating internal progress, and recommending opportunities to improve the process.
- Serves as a primary point of contact, operational lead and liaison between the newly affiliated practice and all internal departments until the hand-off to the field operations team.
- Trains incoming operation leads on the relevant operational, finance, HR, etc. processes.
- Facilitates meetings in-person and remotely, problem solves and reports on progress.
- Maintains confidentiality and discloses information based on its sensitivity and on the need-to-know basis.
- Travels as needed for due diligence and integration support.
- Management of EMR workflow, scheduling utilization, call center data, and overall practice data outputs.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, healthcare or a related field
- PMP and/or Six Sigma certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in managing projects and systems
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional working environment
- EMR experience, prefer ModMed
