Overview

The Procurement Manager will ensure achievement of corporate procurement organizational goals by driving process and continuous improvement efforts across SENTA Partners. This includes standardizing and simplifying processes and procedures, consolidating reporting of Procurement KPIs, level setting and performing other operational duties as defined by the Director of Procurement. The Procurement Manager must define the most effective and efficient methods for measuring Procurement performance by level setting and benchmarking internal and external procurement best practices across the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize best practices to procure supplies, equipment, and services
  • Recommend, implement, and manage various procurement methodologies
  • Develop procurement calendars for goods and services
  • Communicate with vendors in support of negotiation of appropriate pricing, specifications and scope, quantity, and schedule
  • Effectively manage and maintain inventory
  • Assist with audits and other external reviews
  • Review orders to determine product types and quantities required to meet demands
  • Passion for customer service excellence through attentive listening, providing timely information and welcoming feedback and open discussions regarding performance
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills to manage complex tasks and those that require balancing competing interests
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects; excellent organizational, leadership, and delegation skills; and ability to work collaboratively
  • Assist internal customers in use and adoption of Coupa Purchasing application
  • Develop, negotiate, execute, and manage contracts for assigned categories
  • Review and redline SOW's and MSA’s
  • Obtain Purchase information, issue RFQ conduct Sourcing events
  • Work closely with the key stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction and efficiency strategies through to implementation plans with supporting business cases presenting benefits to the business
  • Additional responsibilities cover benchmarking activities in indirect material spend, supplier consolidation opportunities, identifying market trends, and supply trends
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and can clearly present and articulate ideas
  • Other duties as assigned

 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, contract management and/or category management.
  • Basic corporate finance knowledge preferred.
  • Should be competent in financial assessment and comparison of different options, working with senior leadership, communication, presentation skills, and value-based decision analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence others and drive results, communicate within different levels of organizations
  • Must have experience of working with ERP system, Coupa preferred or previous experience with SAP, Oracle, Ariba
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%
