Payment Poster Representative Job – Atlanta GA

POSITION SUMMARY

The Payment Poster is responsible for overseeing the intake of payments processing billing statements and conducting audits each billing cycle under the supervision of the manager of revenue cycle.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Post patient payments via mail or lockbox
• Post payments received electronically
• Resolve all edits, paper and virtual credit cards
• Reconcile balances including insurance and patient credits
• Identify takeback and adjustments within a current EOB or notification of a future recoupment
