- Analyze samples of sleep studies.
- Certified to be a master scorer of sleep studies.
- Provide technical information about sleep study results to physicians.
- Establish protocols to maintain and update Durable Medical Equipment (DME) inventories.
- Schedule and provide DME setups for patients receiving sleep machines (CPAP, BiPAP, etc.)
- Maintain inventories and patient access to DME resupply.
- Familiarization with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine's (AASM) accreditation requirements and standards to maintain sleep lab accreditation.
- Years of Experience: 5 years in sleep medicine required
- Degree or Formal Training: Respiratory Therapy (A.S.) required (Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT)
- License, Certificate, or Registration: Sleep Disorder Specialist (SDS) or Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) required
