We are seeking a proactive and experienced Director of Managed Care to lead our managed care initiatives for our ENT and Allergy private practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry. This role is pivotal in optimizing reimbursement strategies and strengthening our partnership with health plans.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Negotiation & Management:  

    - Lead negotiations with health plans to secure the best rates and terms for our ENT and Allergy practices.

    - Monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon terms.

    - Handle contract renewals and renegotiations as necessary.


2. Strategic Planning:

    - Collaborate with senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities within managed care.

    - Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and regulatory shifts that may impact the managed care landscape.


3. Relationship Building:

    - Develop and maintain strong relationships with health plans, providers, and other stakeholders.

    - Act as the primary liaison between our company and managed care organizations.


4. Financial Oversight:

    - Monitor reimbursement trends, ensuring optimal revenue for our practices.

    - Work closely with the finance team to assess the financial impact of contract terms.


5. Team Leadership & Development:

    - Lead and mentor a team of managed care professionals.

    - Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.




1. bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in managed care, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

3. Knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly in ENT and Allergy practices is a plus.

4. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful contract management.

5. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

6. Proficient in data analysis and financial modeling.

7. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
