The Director, Healthcare Informatics will lead initiatives to support growth within the IT Dept and SENTA Partners as a whole, including responsibility for overseeing analysis, management and performance of health information data and systems. The Director, Healthcare Informatics provides leadership and establishes direction for a comprehensive Health Informatics program for SENTA Partners and combines expert knowledge of patient care, health informatics concepts, and change management to effectively represent the information and knowledge needs and requirements of multi-professionals and patients to promote safe, effective, and efficient use of health information technology across the care continuum.

 As a partner for transformation and in collaboration with the executive leadership across the organization, the Director, Health Informatics serves as the principal driver for implementing strategic health informatics objectives and a change champion for complex clinical projects and health information technology. Serves as the bridge between clinical practice and health informatics supporting efficiency and effectiveness for end users, with the primary goal of advancing evidence-based practice. This role of health information technology extends beyond patient care delivery and clinician workflow to include the operations of the health system that ultimately reflects performance in quality, safety, and financial measures.

 This role is critical to SENTA’s overall success in achieving its vision of becoming the industry leading organization for ENT & Allergy physicians.


  • Delivers internal consultative services related to SENTA Partner’s strategic goals to improve clinical and operational performance using Informatics.
  • Facilitates health information technology solutions that bring evidence-based care standards and care delivery models to the system, reducing clinical variation and improving business and operational performance.
  • Provides vision and strategic support for and directs the integration of clinical and business services in the context of health informatics and the application of business information systems.
  • Advocates for clinical and business innovations that address needs, policy changes, workforce management, health informatics education which align with the overall organizational strategy.
  • Serves as champion for global data management, governance, quality, and vendor relationships.
  • Defines and implements data architecture and company-wide strategy for data storage, processing, analysis, and mining.
  • Directs and leads the activities of the Health Informatics team.
  • Mentors, coaches, and leads staff by providing performance assessment and feedback and advising on professional development and quality performance.
  • Directs the operational and financial activities of the Health Informatics function.
  • Utilizes data to identify opportunities for clinical variation, understands graphical representations of data, and applies project-oriented expertise in identifying leading and lagging metrics for implementation effectiveness, and data plans.
  • Demonstrates data-driven approach for project prioritization and strategies.
  • Serves as an expert to communicate health informatics trends and issues at the system level of the organization.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, MIS, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Master's degree in health informatics preferred.
  • 8+ years in healthcare analytics experience managing and implementing informatics and IT solutions.
  • Experience influencing senior executives.
  • Solid working knowledge of data visualization tools, ideally Power BI.
