Position Summary
SENTA Partners is seeking a hybrid EHR Support Specialist to join our growing Clinical Informatics team. This unique role bridges day-to-day end-user support with technical system administration, ensuring that the Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) and eClinicalWorks EMR platforms operate securely, efficiently, and in alignment with clinical workflows. The ideal candidate brings a blend of healthcare IT expertise and user-facing training/support experience. This hybrid role is based in the Atlanta area and may require travel up to 30% to support clinics and providers across our network.
This role is critical to SENTA’s overall success in achieving its vision of becoming the industry leading organization for ENT & Allergy physicians.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
System Administration: (Technical Ownership)
- Administer and maintain the EMA system, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and system availability.
- Implement, manage, and test system updates, patches, and upgrades in coordination with ModMed, eClincalWorks, and internal IT.
- Monitor system health, security, and data integrity, addressing issues proactively.
- Manage user accounts, access levels, and role-based permissions in compliance with HIPAA and internal policies.
- Conduct routine system backups and manage data recovery protocols.
- Collaborate on the implementation of new modules, features, and third-party integrations.
- Maintain documentation on system configuration, architecture, and SOPs.
- Assist with EMR-related data reporting and analytics to support clinical and business initiatives.
- Stay up to date on EMR trends, cybersecurity practices, and industry best practices.
End-User Support & Training: (Functional Enablement)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for EMA-related help desk requests via Zendesk, resolving Tier 1–2 issues efficiently.
- Provide onboarding and refresher training to providers and clinical staff across SENTA clinics.
- Translate feedback into system optimizations, configuration enhancements, or workflow improvements.
- Develop clear, user-focused training resources, manuals, and SOPs to promote self-service and standardization.
- Support clinic transitions and go-lives, including remote and on-site assistance (up to 30% travel).
- Partner cross-functionally with clinical operations, IT, and external vendors to support change management and adoption.
